Uttarkashi is our main school and suits students who want to focus completely: it is higher, cooler and far quieter than the plains, with river-facing rooms, a Shiva temple on the premises where each day opens with pooja and yagya, and practice on the banks of the Bhagirathi. Dehradun is the easiest place to arrive: Shivoham Retreat is a boutique homestay among gardens and valley views, 500 m from Robber’s Cave, 9 km from the Forest Research Institute, 26 km from Mussoorie, 35 km from Jolly Grant airport and 45 km from Rishikesh. It hosts the 45-day remote professionals’ training, the 100-day weekend training, the daily yoga sessions and the Himalayan Wellness Retreat.
Our main school is in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, on the banks of the Bhagirathi on the road to Gangotri, at about 1,158 metres in the Garhwal Himalaya. Our second venue is Shivoham Retreat in Sinola, Malsi, Dehradun, 500 m from Robber’s Cave.

March to June and September to November. The July to August monsoon can close mountain roads, and December to February is cold in Uttarkashi.
